“Often, language was a problem when I reviewed papers or worked with colleagues who couldn’t express their scientific findings well. I decided to create Sci-Fix to enhance manuscripts and ease the life of reviewers. With proper language, you will maximize the impact of your work!”

about us

Dr. Wassim W. Ayass

Dr. Wassim W. Ayass received his PhD in chemistry in 2018 from Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany. His research was funded by the German Academic Exchange Council (DAAD) via a doctoral scholarship. During his PhD, he focused on the synthesis and structural characterization of novel discrete metal-oxides called polyoxometalates and worked on several industrial projects. He had been mainly the principal investigator of a research project with ExxonMobil’s Global Chemical Research, where he studied the structure-activity relationship of polyoxopalladates as hydrogenation catalysts. During his academic journey, Dr. Ayass published papers in international journals, secured intellectual property, and reviewed several papers. Before moving to Germany, he studied chemical engineering at the American University of Beirut (AUB) in Lebanon and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. His engineering research focused on process and reactor design. Dr. Ayass is extremely interested in languages and is fluent in English, Arabic, French, and German. It happens to also be that he is a classically trained singer.
